What do the amounts mean?
Gross is the amount before applicable taxes and contributions. Net is what remains after them. The result depends on the contract and individual tax and insurance situation. One universal net-pay promise does not describe every candidate.
Statutory amounts for 2026
From 1 January 2026, the minimum wage for full-time employment is PLN 4,806 gross per month. The minimum hourly rate for covered civil-law contracts is PLN 31.40 gross. These are statutory amounts, not a pay offer for a specific Career Designers project.
Compare the whole package
Ask about expected working time, base pay, bonus conditions and payment for additional work. Record housing, commuting and travel costs separately. A maximum possible number of hours is not a guarantee of monthly earnings. Request an illustration for your contract type.
Practical preparation checklist
- Use the same currency and period when comparing amounts.
- Ask for gross or net to be stated with every rate.
- Check whether hours are a plan, a limit or confirmed working time.
- Separate remuneration from housing and commuting charges.
- Confirm the rate’s validity period and bonus conditions.
Multiplying an hourly rate by a chosen number of hours produces only a mathematical result. It does not confirm that those hours will be available or that every component is calculated alike. Request a realistic illustration for the project, with assumptions and additional costs stated clearly. Keep it with the offer.
