What should you tell the recruiter?
Describe the truck type, work environment and experience period. Mention loading, high-rack storage or supplying production. State qualification type, scope and expiry. The label “forklift licence” alone is not enough to assess suitability for a particular machine in Poland.
Check the qualification scope
UDT publishes qualification requirements for specific equipment, including different categories of lifting trucks. A foreign document should not automatically be treated as equivalent to the qualification required in Poland. Our team will establish what needs confirmation and whether the project offers relevant preparation.
Safety in a new workplace
Even an experienced operator needs to learn site traffic routes, pedestrian zones and warehouse procedures. Ask about induction, workstation training and instruction language. If you do not understand an instruction or marking, request clarification before performing the task.
Practical preparation checklist
- Full name and type of equipment used.
- Experience storing and transporting specific loads.
- Qualification document, scope and expiry.
- Whether you understand instructions in the site’s required language.
- Confirm project requirements before operating equipment.
A candidate knows counterbalance trucks, while the project uses another equipment type. This calls for checking, not relabelling the CV. Explain the equipment actually used and documents held. The team will assess qualification suitability and whether preparation for the required scope is possible.
